Overview

This is the course reader for STS 115 – Data Sense & Exploration: Critical Storytelling with Analysis. The course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of computing and network architecture, basic programming skills, and an introduction to common methods in Data Science and Digital Humanities. The course is part one of a two part sequence we call Adventures in Data Science. This course reader provides background information that will help you to better understand the concepts that we will discuss in class and to better participate in the hands-on portion of the course.
